Ajwain Oil, also known as ajowan seed oil is an essential oil extracted through steam distillation from the crushed seeds of the Ajowan plant. Ajowan Essential Oil is a pungent smelling oil with a history in Ayurvedic medicine. Traditionally it has been used to treat digestive problems and alleviate toothaches. It also has uses as an antiseptic and a pain reliever (analgesic).
